Bill is a licensed and ordained independent minister. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in 2007. His studies were in Pastoral Theology and Youth Ministries. Bill became a nudist after viewing a discussion about Nudism in America on a television talk show. He did not believe that nudism still existed. Sure, everyone has heard of "Nudist Colonies" back in the old days with hippies, liberals, tree-huggers, and women who didn't shave their armpits or legs…but did it still exist in our contemporary world? And if so, what is it all about?
The quest was on. Bill decided to get on the internet and Google nudist clubs in Texas. To his surprise, there were quite a few. He found his way to the American Association for Nude Recreation web page and read the information that they had on their website. It sounded intriguing. There were scores of clubs all across the United States as well as the world! Slightly hesitant, he then called a club that was only 45 minutes from where he lived and made a reservation to visit and camp out for the weekend.
The club, not far from Austin, promoted itself as a family-oriented nudist park that had been in operation since 1957. They seemed to be dedicated to maintaining a wholesome and safe environment for the enjoyment of nudist activities. It was also noticed that the club was a member in good standing of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) which seemed to be a big deal in the nudist world.
After only a few months, Bill took a part-time job on weekends working in the nudist club’s office. Not long after that, he moved into a small cabin and began working full-time at the club. During this time, he met many people who were historical in the nudist movement, as well as, folks that were trying out nudism for the first time.
After about 2 ½ years, Bill decided to move on, but he never lost his love for the nudist lifestyle or the message that true nudists promote. During the past few years, Bill worked on a small new club called Bare Cheek Ranch. He has been on two Bare Necessities Travel Club Cruises, visited Oaklake Trails Naturist Resort, Rock Haven Lodge, Armadillo Resort, Gulf Haven Naturist Resort, Cedar Creek Park, Cypress Cove Nudist Resort & Spa, and White Tail Park among others. He joined and currently has a Premier Membership with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and Clothes Free International (CFI).
Knowing the history of nudism, and the great struggles to get where we are today, Bill sought to put his skills and experience within youth ministries into action. For the past 6 years, he has been involved with the AANR-Southwest and AANR-East region Youth Camps.
Early 2009, Bill was approached with the idea of reaching a crucial age-group for the vitality of the nudist movement. Concentration was placed on promoting nudism to young adults from 18-25. His response was swift and put into action with full force. Being a perfectionist and an outspoken promoter of the nudist lifestyle, he forged a new concept to educate the clothed masses.
As an outreach method, he created the new website: www.CollegeNudists.Weebly.com which has now found its permanent home at www.CollegeNudistSeminars.com. This site is for informing college-aged adults about nudism and nudist activities for people within their age-group.
The “pre-nudists,” as Bill likes to call them, needed educating. That revelation led to the first College Nudist Weekend held at Oaklake Trails in Depew, Oklahoma. Coinciding with the organization of the College Nudist Weekend, Bill began College Nudist Seminars. In 2009 he began reaching out to all Nudist and Naturist Clubs (landed or not) that believe in the same core values of family-oriented nudism. The College Nudist Weekends are not designed for gathering and play (like some that outreach to the College-aged.) It is primarily conducted to educate and reveal what true Nudism is all about. With that said, there is plenty of fun and activity intertwined in the schedule.

In June of 2009, Bill was elected to the American Association for Nude Recreation Southwestern Region (AANR-SW) Board of Directors as Recording Secretary. He was also assigned the position of Chairperson to the Public Relations and Marketing committee.
